A volte non capisco cose come questa: tutti questi cartelli ad un incrocio in una zona semi deserta -Sometimes I don't understand such things: all these signs on a cross in an almost desert zone..

Che anno è? - Which year is it?
Solo la penna nel taschino (e la foto a colori in se) a suggerire un'epoca recente...per il resto, ci si sente persi nel tempo - only the pen in the pocket (and the colour photo itself) suggests a recent year, as for the rest, you feel lost in time..

Come sul gange..
L'acqua è rosa, e l'afa scompare nelle sere di Novembre: qui in KSA intere famiglie trascorrono ore con i piedi a mollo, evocando certe scene di bagni sacri sulle rive del Gange...
The water is rose and the sultriness disappeares in November evenings: here in KSA, whole families spend hours with their feets inside the water, evoking scenes of sacred baths long the rivers of Gange..
